About the Barcelona wine company

Who we are

We are Kevin and Chris, the team behind the Barcelona Wine Company.
Our story is simple: Kevin (WSET 3 certified) moved from the Netherlands to Barcelona and never looked back after tasting one too many remarkable Spanish wines. Chris (certified sherry educator), originally from Norway, has called Barcelona home for more than 20 years and brings a ton of knowledge about Spanish food and wine with a deep love for Spanish culture. Chris is also owner of Wine Secrets Barcelona and Barna Brew Born. What started as individual journeys became a shared passion project: creating authentic wine experiences and building bridges between small Spanish wineries and the wider world.

Wine experiences in Barcelona: what we do for wine lovers

We host group wine experiences in Barcelona, up to 20 people in our charming tasting room in Gràcia (Barcelona), but also at external locations for larger groups. Every session is hands‑on: guests swirl, sniff, and compare different wines, all accompanied with (local) cheeses and charcuterie. Our goal is to turn curious drinkers into confident tasters. 

Team building wine workshop

Need a break from flip‑charts and PowerPoints? Our team‑building wine workshop lets colleagues or friend groups make their own signature cuvée, design a label, and pitch it to the group. It is light‑hearted, competitive, and - judging by the laughter - very good for morale.
